Meet Katy McCray
Real Estate Broker and Pike & Prairie’s Design Lead.
As a Realtor, Katy spent years learning the ins and outs of homes and their many issues solving home inspection dilemmas.
After remodeling her personal properties and helping several real estate clients stage their properties and transform outdated kitchens — Katy launched Pike & Prairie to bring beauty and function to homes across Southeast Wisconsin.
House projects can easily become headaches, but Katy has honed in a design process and assembled a team of professionals that will keep your project stress free and, dare we say, enjoyable!
Design Process

We’ll stop in to see your space and discuss your project. If we seem like a good fit, we’ll plan the space together and put together an estimate for your review.

After you’ve approved our estimate, we’ll visit the site for measurements and our interior architect will begin drafting plans for your approval.

Once the architect’s renderings are finalized, we will review our design, revise if necessary, and begin ordering fixtures, materials, and furnishings.

Our general contractor and lead designer will oversee your project to make sure not one detail is amiss. Coordinating deliveries and crews can cause stress to many homeowners. We will work hard to help your project fly by without stress on your shoulders.

Down to the last detail! We will style your space and capture a few photos and videos for the gram. It will be that HGTV moment we’ve all dreamed of!
